College Football Week 2 Picks

After a long hiatus, we are back to make some picks for the 2016-2017 season.  Usually like to sit out the first few weeks but we are trying to ease back into the swing of things.  There are no picks of the week this week because we want to see the teams perform through the first few weeks.  That being said here are the the lines our team likes and has rolled out.

Saturday 9/9/2016

12:30PM PT – Duke -5.5 vs. Wake Forest.  Normally like to stay away from rivalry games but Duke looks to be in great form to start the season, granted it was only against NCC.  First year starter Daniel Jones continues the string of decent quarterback play from Duke.  Wake Forest started the season against Tulane with a whopping win of 7-3.  We expect the home team to cover by at least 3 TD’s, 38-7 final score.

4:30PM PT – Auburn -19.5 vs. Arkansas State.  One of the games we eyed was Ark St. last week vs. Toledo.  Remember when we all deemed Voytik to be a good QB at Pitt, well the brought his greatness to Ark St., he may be a QB to bet against every single week.  On the flip, everyone predicted an easy cover by Clemson week 1.  It was even the POTW for many cappers.  Sean White finally looks like he could manage a game and at the end of the day  Auburn just has athletes no matter which way you put it.  Last week was a 31-10 loss for the Red Wolves, should be the same type of score.  45-1o home squad.

4:30PM PT – BYU +3.5 at Utah.  Another instate rivalry game.  There’s not much logic to this pick.  Taysom Hill is that dude.  When he’s on the field, anything is possible.  After the departure of some starters and their work horse back Booker, where does the running game go.  I’ve made money on 95% of the time I bet on Taysom.  Much of the same this week, bet on this guy when you because he could suffer another season ending injury at any given moment.  We see a dog scratch win here.  31-28 BYU.

Good luck to all!  As always don’t bet if you can’t afford it.  Let’s get the feelers out and get ready for week 3, when the season really begins.
